Jungle Fruit Store
Costa Rica
I wanted to capture the vibrancy and rhythm of a tropical fruit market through bold colors, curved lines, and layered perspectives. The scene is alive with hanging bananas, clusters of grapes, and an abundance of fresh produce, all set against the lush greenery of towering palm leaves.
The market stall, made of corrugated metal and wood, reflects the rustic charm of local vendors. I included a lone figure in a wide-brimmed hat, sitting in quiet contemplation, to evoke a sense of daily life and routine.
By using fragmented shapes and fluid movement, I aimed to recreate the energy of the marketplace—the warm breeze swaying the hanging fruit, the hum of daily trade, and the organic flow of nature. This piece is a celebration of color, life, and the beauty of simple moments in a tropical setting.
