KOI's One

In this piece, I wanted to capture the tranquility and movement of a koi pond—an eternal dance of color and reflection. The koi, swirling in a mesmerizing spiral, symbolize perseverance and transformation, their fluid forms dissolving into the deep blues of the water. The lily pads and bright yellow flowers serve as a grounding contrast, representing balance and harmony within nature.

I played with motion and abstraction to evoke the rippling energy of water, blurring the boundaries between form and reflection. The brushstrokes and layered hues give a sense of movement, as if the viewer is peering into a living moment, ever-changing.
